Book Description

Could a post-it note really lead to love…?

Sadie doesn’t have time for finding love. She’s too busy as PA for famous artist Damian Banks. When she’s not arranging exhibitions, she’s organizing his dry cleaning or dumping his never ending stream of girlfriends.

But when she strikes up an unusual friendship with her desk share buddy, she finds a confidante and a new potential love interest. Problem is, they’ve never actually met…

With Christmas just around the corner, can Sadie put herself first for a change and find what she’s been looking for all along?

Sadie studied art and dreamt of becoming an art curator, but, in the meantime, she was the assistant of the famous portrait photographer, Damian Banks.

Instead of learning from his creative process, or basking in his renowned experience, Sadie spent most of her time getting clothes to and from the dry-cleaning or breaking up with his girlfriends.

Her only solace was the post-it notes she exchanged with her co-worker Adam. He was an oasis of sense and humor amidst her chaotic workplace.

There was only a little problem: Sadie and Adam had never met in person.

Sadie is a lovely character. She reminded me a bit of Andrea Sachs (Anne Hathaway) in Devil Wears Prada. Always going the extra mile to do a great job, even when frustrated with the way her life was turning out.

Adam is a fun character and a great post-it writer. He understood Sadie and brought a little lightness and laugh to her crazy workdays.

Damian’s artistic and chaotic nature made him a little difficult to work for, but he was a good guy deep inside.

This is my second book by Portia Macintosh, and again I enjoyed her witty dialogues and laugh-out-loud scenes. I loved how she immersed the characters in Christmas cheer.

Stuck on You is a witty and joyful contemporary romance, perfect for reading during the holidays!

About the Author

Portia MacIntosh has been ‘making stuff up’ for as long as she can remember – or so she says. Whether it was blaming her siblings for that broken vase when she was growing up, blagging her way backstage during her rock chick phase or, most recently, whatever justification she can fabricate to explain away those lunchtime cocktails, Portia just loves telling tales. After years working as a music journalist, Portia decided it was time to use her
powers for good and started writing novels instead.
Bestseller Portia writes hilarious romcoms, drawing on her real life experiences to show what it’s really like being a woman today – especially one who doesn’t quite have her life together yet.
