Review
Lady Annabelle has always lived in seclusion due to a childhood accident that scarred her face.
After her sister Beth got married and moved to India, living with their cruel mother became even more unbearable.
When an unexpected marriage proposal came her way, she had no other option but to accept, as being mistress of her own home, even in a loveless marriage of convenience, would be better than continuing living with her heartless mother.
But Annabelle could not help falling in love with her emotionally unavailable husband, which could only lead to heartbreak.

As you all know, I love a grumpy, distant hero, especially when there is a good dose of unrequited love, and this story did not disappoint.
I immediately felt for Leo and was emotionally invested in his HEA with Annabelle.
Falling for His Practical Wife has a good amount of angst, lots of romantic moments, and a lovely end. Great summer read!
